Muppet Vision 3D Closing at Disney World, Monstropolis Expansion, Must See 2025 Summer Events!

This week marks a bittersweet moment for Disney fans as Muppet Vision 3D takes it's final bow, making way for the anticipated Monstropolis! Meanwhile, the recent opening of Universal's Epic Universe is already influencing wait times across all parks. As summer kicks into high gear, both resorts are unveiling a lineup of exciting seasonal events.

🎭Farewell to Muppet Vision 3D: Final Curtain Call on June 7

After delighting audiences since 1991, Muppet Vision 3D will close permanently on June 7, 2025. This closure is part of a phased transformation of the Grand Avenue area into a highly anticipated Monsters Inc themed land. Fans of the Muppets can look forward to their return in a new reimagined Rock 'n' Roller Coaster replacing the Aerosmith themed ride.

👹MONSTROPOLIS: A New Pixar Adventure!

Construction for Monstropolis begins June 8, 2025. PizzeRizzo will also be closing in the area making way for an immersive world of Mike and Sulley. Attractions like the Monstro Theater and a flying door coaster have already been announced. This transformation promises to bring a fresh Pixar experience to an outdated land in Hollywood Studios.

💫Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party: Kicking off on August 15th, this beloved event marks the unofficial start to the holiday season! One of my family's absolute favorites. The event offers exclusive evening access, themed parades, treats, fireworks and more!! Get your SPOOKY SEASON stared with Mickey and Friends. Tickets range from $119-$229 but it's soooo worth it and this year, HALLOWEEN NIGHT IS ALREADY SOLD OUT !!!!!

💫DESTINATION D23: From August 29-31 Disney fans can attend this expo at Coronado Springs Resort, featuring special events, upcoming park news, upcoming movie and show dates, and a new 80's-90's Celebration Concert!!!! I MUST BE THERE THIS YEAR!!!!

💫The Beak and Barrel: 🏴☠️Broken up into two sections this Pirates of The Caribbean themed is a highly anticipated addition to Magic Kingdom from scoundrels and bandits across all realms! The first and largest section is called the 🍻Mess(think mess hall) featuring long tables adorned with a large anchor covered in candles and dripping wax. A large bar is anchored on one side of the room made up of salvaged portions of cursed shipwrecks???😵The second section is called Captain's Quarters; adorned with fine art and drapery it's where the poshiest of pirates can gather for a taste of the finer things in life. 

🦜Guests staying on property at a resort will be able to make reservations starting June 12th for opening day on August 15th. Non resort staying guests will be able to make reservations for August 15th opening starting June 16th. So excited for this one!!!🏴🦜☠️
